Facilitating Migration

With more than one billion people on the move today, more than at any other time in recorded history, migration management has moved to the forefront of many States’ agendas. Facilitating more dignified, orderly and safe migration remains a key challenge. IOM supports States to improve migration governance through the provision of efficient and cost-effective international migration services:

    • Policy and technical advice to governments on the regulation of migrant labour and other migratory movements
    • Programmes to assist governments and migrants with recruitment, language training, pre-departure cultural orientation, pre-consular support services, arrival reception, and integration support

IOM in Hungary focuses its work on the following areas:

    • Labour migration
    • Integration
    • Family reunification

Currently IOM Budapest has no relevant active projects.
