The Media and Communications Unit at the Regional Office in Brussels responds to press queries concerning IOM's work and migration issues in the region comprising the EU, Norway, Switzerland and United Kingdom. It also supports IOM offices in the region on media and communications.
IOM’s Media and Communications Unit (MCU) based at Headquarters in Geneva provides advice and support on media and communications issues to IOM offices worldwide and is responsible for global media relations. The media team responds to press inquiries to HQ, briefs Geneva-based international media, and represents IOM to the United Nations Information Service in Geneva and the UN’s Department of Global Communications in New York.
