Empowering Migrants: Integration through Information and Training of Public Officials and NGOs (INTI 2004) (2005 - 2006)

Summary: This regional project aimed to provide migrants in the five Central European countries with information and improved services to help them integrate in their host society. The first part of the project focused on research and assessment of needs of migrants in the participating countries, with special focus on the information on cultural, political and social characteristics of the country concerned. The second part of the project brought together representatives of relevant agencies in the participating countries to Training of Trainers (ToT) workshops to discuss the best practices for integration services, within issues of employment, education and community integration.
