Human Trafficking and Hungarians

Budapest  – Hungarians are extremely concerned about the phenomenon of human trafficking: they consider it a bigger problem than Covid and believe that the number of people involved will increase in the coming years. According to the research by the International Organization for Migration (IOM), Hungarians are relatively well-informed about human trafficking, but not enough information reaches potential victims. The information campaign launched on 18 October, European Anti-Trafficking Day, also aims to target the most vulnerable groups.
