Regional Information Campaign in Romania and Bulgaria "Clarifying the Myths and Realities of Immigration to the United Kingdom" (2006 - 2007)

Summary: This project aimed to establish and carry out a regional information campaign designed to inform potential migrants in the Acceding Countries, i.e. Bulgaria and Romania, of the myths and realities of immigrating to the United Kingdom following the EU enlargement in January 2007. The campaign provided objective information on immigration, working in the UK, the rights and obligations of immigrants, and the risks and consequences associated with breaking the UK law and abuse of the social security system.
