Another successful child protection training for OIA professionals

IOM Budapest, in cooperation with the Office of Immigration and Asylum (OIA), the Cordelia Foundation for the Rehabilitation of Torture Victims and UNHCR, organized the second round of capacity building trainings for OIA professionals in Szeged on the 23rd of November 2017. The topics included IOM Budapest’s Guidelines to protect migrant children (which will soon be available for the public), the best interests of the child and how to determine them, as well as the identification of traumas. This was the last training session organized withing the framework of IOM’s regional child protection project for first responders this year.
