Distributing non-food items to unaccompanied migrant children
Hungary - IOM Budapest contributed to addressing some of the most important needs of unaccompanied minors accommodated in the Károlyi István Child Centre’s facility for unaccompanied minors in Fót as part of the "Migration crisis in Europe - Support to stranded migrants in Greece and Hungary" project funded by SlovakAid.
IOM distributed the following items in Fót to raise the standard of living of unaccompanied minors:
- Kitchenware (mugs, plates etc.)
- Lockers for storage Clothes (underwear, t-shirts, trousers, socks)
- Water-resistant boots and warm coats to prepare for the winter
- Hygiene kits
- Books in English.
