SUMIGRE workshop held in Budapest
On 13th May 2019, IOM Budapest held a workshop within the framework of project titled SUMIGRE - Supporting Professional Development of Migrant-related Educators, funded by ERASMUS+.
The workshop offered a step-by-step introduction of the “Migrant-Related Educators’ Training” portal and a review of the training modules to a small focus group pf potential end-users with the aim of collecting their feedback and recommendations.
The project -- which is being implemented in Turkey, Bulgaria, Hungary, Czech Republic, Netherlands and the UK -- aims to support the professional development of migrant-related educators, to empower more NGOs, to raise public awareness to issues related to migration, and to build a network of NGOs, adult education providers, public authorities and policy makers.
