Training session organized within the framework of IOM’s regional child protecton project for child protection professionals
IOM Budapest, in cooperation with the Office of Immigration and Asylum (OIA), the Cordelia Foundation for the Rehabilitation of Torture Victims and UNHCR, organized its seventh and last capacity building training session of the year within the framework of IOM’s regional child protecton project on 14 December 2017. This time the training was organized for child protection professionals and took place in the Home of Unaccompanied Children in Fót. The topics mainly focused on the asylum procedure and what happens to unaccompanied children before they arrive to Fót as well as the determination of the best interests of the child and the identification of traumas.
